Spent a few days in Positano and Capri and traveled up and down the Amalfi Coast over my birthday weekend. This part of Italy is most definitely one you’ll never forget. Will definitely be back very soon.
Here is a small must visit and to do list…
HOTELS Le Sirenuse, Casa Privata (my favorite), Santa Caterina, Monastero Santa Rosa,
CAR book a convertible (like a Fiat 500) at the airport in advance OR rent a scooter in Positano – parking spaces are limited and if you want to go to all the beautiful coves nearby parking is only possible with a scooter
BOAT book a boat in advance and sail up and down the coastline and discover all the coves, Capri and Ischia by boat
FOOD & VINO Villa Treville, Ristorante Io guarracino Positano, La Rada, Palazzo Avino, Le Sirenuse
CLOTHES light and airy dresses, shorts and tops, during the summertime it’s so hot you usually don’t need a sweater or jacket
MUST SEE Capri (rent a scooter to discover the island), Ischia, Ravello, drive along the Amalfi coastline, explore the small coves, walk around Positano
